Welcome to our website! This site is designed to help you learn about our school and what we have to offer for your prospective child/children that may attend here.

About Us

Lighthouse Christian Academy serves students in grades K4 to 12th. We use the A Beka curriculum for preschoolers and kindergardeners, and 1st-12th grade students use the A.C.E. curriculum. The A.C.E. curriculum allows us to educate children in an individualized program which maximizes each child's individual learning abilities.

Lighthouse Christian Academy also offers athletic programs for students, we are in the South Carolina Association of Christian Schools (SCACS). For girls, we participate in volleyball and cheerleading. For boys, we participate in both boys' volleyball and boys' basketball.

Our Church

Lighthouse Baptist Church was founded by Dr. Alvin E. Wilson, Sr. in 1982. The church was officially organized in 1983. God has allowed our little church to touch many lives over the last 30 years. If you are looking for a church to call home, we would love to have you visit. We are located in Laurens County just three miles from Wal-mart Distribution Center in the Ora Community

LBC is located in a little community (Ora) at the outer edge of Laurens County. We are only 3 miles from I-385 and are very close to Laurens, Gray Court, and Enoree. In August of 2001 God allowed us to open Lighthouse Christian Academy. Currently LBC supports over 20 missionary families and/or ministries which span 4 continents. LBC ministers to our communities through a Nursing Home Ministry, Jail Ministry, Christian Day School, and a Visitation Program. You are invited to come be a part of the Lord's work at LBC.
